Introduction

MIRAÉ designed the official digital platform for Tokyo Fashion Week — a season hub bringing together runway coverage, designer profiles, and cultural programming into a single editorial experience. The work redefined how fashion week exists online, moving beyond livestream links toward a platform with its own editorial identity.

The Challenge

Tokyo Fashion Week had a global audience hungry for coverage but no digital home worthy of the city's creative output — events were fragmented across social media, press releases, and third-party publications. The platform needed to position TFW as a cultural event on par with Paris and Milan, not an emerging-market footnote.

The Solution

MIRAÉ designed a platform that prioritised image and pace — fast-loading, full-bleed editorial photography, a season archive that grew more valuable over time, and a designer index that treated each label's profile as a permanent portfolio page rather than a temporary event listing.

Result

The platform launched to coincide with the SS26 season and became the primary reference point for international press covering Tokyo that week. Designer profile traffic from international visitors increased by over 80% compared to the previous season's fragmented coverage.
